SHAH ALAM: An email believed to be by missing British teenager David Renz Galletes Balisong was sent to his parents urging them not to try and locate him, says the police.
“The email was sent to his mother on July 9. It said not to worry and to not try to find him.
“It also said that he prayed for the well-being of all his family members and that he was sorry for doing so (disappearing) and that he is not sure when he would return," Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said.
He was asked for updates to the missing person case at a press conference on the matter at the police contingent headquarters here Wednesday (July 16).
Comm Hussein also said that the police believe that he was still in the country and urged those with information to contact the police.
The teenager from the United Kingdom (UK), who has been reported missing, arrived in Malaysia on June 7.
